Lion’s Club Annual Drawing
Tickets available from any Lion’s Club member or you can pick them up at the Chamber. Tickets are $1 a piece or 6 for $5. Lots of great gifts and prizes including a side of beef donated by Xtra Factors & Pratt Feeders, processing by T&W Meats. Drawing will be held the second Wednesday of December.
 
Hope Center & Agape Health Clinic
The Hope Center and the Agape Health Clinic in Pratt are seeking a Director. There is potential for the same person to fill both positions to be full time. Applications and job descriptions can be picked up at the Hope Center, 314 S Main St. To request an application by email, send an email to hopeagapeapplication@gmail.com. Applications will be accepted until Friday November 16th or the position is filled.

Annual Parish Turkey Dinner
Sunday, November 11 – 12:00 Noon to 2:00 pm
Sacred Heart School Cafeteria
Turkey and dressing, mashed white potatoes and gravy, vegetable, jello, hot roll, pie or cake, coffee, iced tea or water. Adults are $9.00, Children (4-12) $4 and 3 years and younger are free. Carry out meals are available by calling 672-6352 between 9:30 am and 11:30 am that day. Youth will be delivering meals between 11:30 am  and 12:30 pm day of. Prices for carry out are same as dinning in. Deliveries will only be made in Pratt. There are also raffles and the country store will offer theme gift baskets. To volunteer to help that day in the kitchen, call Gina Hommertzheim at 672-3373.

Through a combination of virtuoso manipulation, humor, pathos, classic music and poetic insight, The Cahore Marionettes take the audience on a journey that celebrates the richness of life in a powerful, entertaining,, surprising, theatrically satisfying, one-of-a-kind evening.

Santa Claus is coming to town! Join us as we welcome Santa to Pratt for the beginning of our holiday season and to help turn on the Christmas lights around town. We will have live entertainment including Miss Kansas, Miss Outstanding Teen, PCC Encore, area bands, singing groups and dancers, kid’s activities, hay bale rides, horse & buggy rides, food vendors and more!

Holiday Door Swag Workshop
Wednesday, November 28 – 12:00 to 1:00 pm
Pratt Area 4-H Center
Pratt County Extension Master Gardener’s invite you to explore your creative side with a holiday door swag workshop let by Lynne Moss of the Flower Shoppe. Each participant will make and take home a holiday-themed door swag. Participants are asked to bring a sturdy set of clippers, all other supplies will be furnished. Please call the Extension Office 620.672.6121 to reserve your spot. A $20 fee is due upon registration.

Pratt Public Library presents: The Makerspace
A makerspace is a collaborative work space for making, learning, exploring & sharing that uses high tech to no tech tools. The maker mindset is one of creating something out of nothing & exploring your own interests. These spaces are also helping to prepare those who need the critical 21st century skills in the fields of science, technology, engineering, art & math (STEAM). Makerspaces are also fostering entrepreneurship & are being utilized as incubators for business startups. The Maker Zone @ Pratt Public Library is open to all ages Monday-Wednesday 10 am-5 pm. After hours crafting class are also held on many Tuesday nights. We have a variety of maker equipment including Circuit die cut machines, soldering iron, sewing machine, binding machine, jewelry making supplies, yarn, scrapbooking supplies, hot glue guns, cardboard, LEGOs & art supplies. Our staff is available to assist in creating, finding supplies & brainstorming.
