The program will address how “fair market value” is determined for Kansas property tax purposes and review the steps business owners and other property owners can take to reduce their property tax bills. Kansas property tax assessments are generally mailed out by March 1 and appeals are due 30 days from the mailing date.

Jarrod Kieffer is an attorney with Stinson Leonard Street LLP and has extensive experience handling property tax appeals.  He represents businesses, commercial property owners, manufacturers, and others looking to appeal and reduce their property tax bills.
