Walk Kansas 2020 – An 8-week healthy lifestyle challenge
Gather your team of six people by March 13 and register online at www.walkkansas.org or by contacting Jodi Drake at the Pratt County K-State Research & Extension Office at 824 W First Street or by calling 620-672-6121. Program runs from March 15 – May 9.

Pratt County Extension Master Gardeners Lunch & Learn
Wednesday, March 18 – 12:00 to 1:00 pm
Pratt County Fairgrounds 4-H Building
Join the Master Gardeners for a lively discussion of craft ideas for gourds. Vickie Fobes will share insights on how to preserve, prepare and decorate gourds. She will also bring several examples to educate and inspire. Please call the Extension Office at 620-672-6121 to RSVP for the meal and reserve your spot today! The fee for this exciting event is $10 and includes your lunch and a chance to win some fun door prizes.

Triple feature celebrating Women’s History Month! “The Women of PAAF”, “Silver Wings/Flying Dreams”, and “Flying the Beam – Portrait of a WASP”. Regular Museum admission rates apply, Members are free, Adults are $5, Ages 11-17 are $3 and children under 11 are free. Veterans will be admitted for free. The Pratt Public Library will be providing water, sodas and popcorn. Seating is limited so get there early!

Pilot Club of Pratt Annual Chicken Noodle Dinner
Monday, March 23 – 5:00 – 7:00 pm
Pratt Municipal Building
Join the Pilot Club as they host their annual Chicken Noodle dinner! Tickets are available by contacting any Pilot Club member or at the door. Tickets are $5.00 for 10 years of age and younger, $8.00 for adults. Carry out is available and additional chicken & noodles are $6.00 a container. There will also be bierocks for $25.00 a dozen.

Tractor Safety Training
Saturday, March 28 – 7:30 am – 6:00 pm
Pratt Community College
If you are 14 or 15 years old and planning to do farm work for someone other than a parent or legal guardian, you must take a Tractor Safety Course according to the U.S. Department of Labor requirements. The $40 registration fee includes lunch and is available to those who live in Barber, Kingman, Kiowa, Pratt and Stafford Counties. If you live outside the listed counties, the registration fee is $50 and $60 for anyone who registers after March 13. Contact your local Extension Office to register. This event is sponsored by Pratt Community College, BTI Pratt, Kincheloe’s and KanEquip
