Pratt Area Economic Development Corporation (PAEDC)
The Pratt Area Economic Development Corporations (PAEDC) is an aggressive organization that works in conjunction with the city, county, and the Pratt Area Chamber of Commerce to enhance the business climate for new and existing businesses. PAEDC offers a variety of business development incentives.

The PAEDC Economic Incentives application must be filled out prior to consideration for assistance. PAEDC assistance is capped at $100,000 per project. Projects are scored based upon a uniform score sheet and incentives awarded based upon economic impact the project will generate in the Pratt area.

The PAEDC Facade Improvement Program (FIP) provides a grant match for businesses looking to improve the exterior of their buildings. The FIP is a reimbursable grant match program. Exterior building improvement costs are eligible for 50% reimbursement up to $5,000. The FIP is limited to privately owned commercial buildings anywhere within Pratt County who receive regular foot traffic from customers. The exterior improvements to commercial building facades within Pratt County will enhance the appearance and functionality of buildings, improves structural integrity and aesthetics, increasing economic prosperity, accessibility, and improve the quality of life in Pratt County. The total pool of funds available in the calendar year 2022-2023 for FIP projects is $50,000. These funds will be approved on a first come first serve basis until funding is exhausted.
